@dbungert, I've just done a smoke test of the test iso you provided earlier (noble- desktop-lp-2167127-repack-amd64.iso) and I confirm that the 'extended selection' installation path is now working.
I haven't done extended testing but confirm that this path was crashing yesterday with 24.04.5 official but went smoothly today.
