Viktor, thanks for supplying a patch. Since we haven't heard back from
Artem yet, the next step could be for you to submit the patch to the
kernel team for review and inclusion into our kernels.

While unfortunate that, at the time of writing, we don't have a
confirmation that this patch fixes Artem's bug, due to its pervasiveness
across distros, it may have a better chance of being accepted. I suggest
