Quick update:
The Ubuntu kernel team (Andrei Gherzan) reviewed the backport submission.
This fix is already committed to the Resolute kernel git tree under commit

upstream stable sync in LP: #2164666.
Since the fix is already in the tree, it will land with the next
Resolute kernel upload in -proposed. Updating status to Fix Committed.
