Public bug reported:
After upgrading from 24.04 to 26.04, I noticed the man pages for the
coreutils have become severely degraded. Compared to the GNU coreutils,
the pages are missing entire sections, and essential things are left
unexplained.
We use Ubuntu to teach basic Linux skills and our students rely heavily
on man pages, so for us, this is a major regression.
