One more piece of evidence that may help - the working kernel prints the remap itself.
Same machine, same userspace, only the kernel differs. Booting 7.2.6-070206-generic: soundwire_intel:sdw_dmi_override_adr: soundwire sdw-master-0-3: remapped _ADR 0x330025d072201 as 0x0 (printed twice) snd_soc_sdw_utils: asoc_sdw_count_sdw_endpoints: sof_sdw sof_sdw: Found 1 devices with 1 endpoints snd_soc_sdw_utils: asoc_sdw_parse_sdw_endpoints: sof_sdw sof_sdw: Adding prefix cs42l43 for cs42l43-codec cs35l56 spi-cs35l56-left: Calibration applied snd_soc_core: soc_new_pcm: sof_sdw sof_sdw: snd-soc-dummy-dai <-> Speaker mapping ok On 7.0.0-34 those "remapped _ADR 0x330025d072201 as 0x0" lines are absent entirely, and the same boot instead reports "Found 2 devices with 4 endpoints" / "Adding prefix cs42l43-1" and then fails to register the card with -ENODEV. So the ghost ADR in this machine's ACPI is 0x330025d072201, which is exactly the entry the missing patch remaps to 0. Side-by-side extract of both boots attached (bug-2168633-boot-comparison.txt).?field.comment=One more piece of evidence that may help - the working kernel prints the remap itself.
