Public bug reported: CMake 4.0 dropped support for cmake_minimum_required() versions older than 3.5.
autopilot-gtk's top-level CMakeLists.txt declares: cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 2.6...3.28) The lower bound of 2.6 causes CMake 4.0 to abort with a fatal error, breaking the build. Fix: raise the minimum to 3.5 (or higher), e.g.: cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 3.5...3.31) See also the Debian MBF thread: https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2025/04/msg00310.html ** Affects: autopilot-gtk (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: Matthieu Clemenceau (mclemenceau) Status: New ** Tags: ftbfs ** Changed in: autopilot-gtk (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Matthieu Clemenceau (mclemenceau) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2168798 Title: autopilot-gtk: FTBFS with CMake 4 (cmake_minimum_required VERSION 2.6 below 3.5) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/autopilot-gtk/+bug/2168798/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
