Public bug reported: Zorin OS 18 (Ubuntu 24.04/Noble base, packages unmodified from noble-updates) GNOME 46 Wayland, AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT (radeonsi, navi32) WebKitGTK 2.52.6-0ubuntu0.24.04.1. Evolution mail preview and Yelp both show black/blank window; each spawned WebKitWebProcess consumes ~100% CPU permanently, sometimes crashes with Apport dialog. No coredumps in hang cases. WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER=1, WEBKIT_DISABLE_COMPOSITING_MODE=1, GDK_BACKEND=x11 – all without effect.
