Had the issue with 7.0.0-34-generic. Started by trying to reinstall the driver using : `sudo apt install --reinstall nvidia-driver-595-open` This did not solve the issue but then I noticed that the package `linux-modules-nvidia-595-open-generic-hwe-26.04` had been kept back. I installed it manually and this solved the issue
