With linux 7.0.0-39-generic, the original SONY471A duplicate software_node / EEXIST issue is fixed.
The sensor now probes successfully, /dev/video* nodes are created, icamerasrc detects imx471-uf, and the camera stream starts. The following now works: - intel-ipu7 finds SONY471A - imx471 probes successfully - /dev/ipu7-psys0 permissions were fixed - privacy shutter input permissions were fixed - icamerasrc opens the camera and negotiates NV12 at 720p and 1080p However, the output is green. This happens both as normal user and root, and with 720p and 1080p NV12. CamHAL logs: GraphUtils: getFourccFmt: no fourcc for resourceId 1, term 10 Utils: bpl defaulting to width for format:GREY FileSource: Cannot open frame file:/etc/camera/ipu7x/dummy_1280x720.nv12 AiqUnit: run3A: AIQ is not started: 4 The same happens with dummy_1920x1080.nv12 at 1080p. I created /etc/camera/ipu7x/dummy_1280x720.nv12 as a grey NV12 frame. After that, the camera output became a grey image instead of green. This confirms that CamHAL is using the FileSource/dummy path instead of real sensor frames.
