Public bug reported: php-mock-phpunit 2.15.0-2 fails its autopkgtest with phpunit 13.2.6+ds-1 from stonking-proposed on amd64, amd64v3 and arm64. This is one of the regressions blocking phpunit, which in turn holds back phpunit-diff, phpunit-comparator and php-codecoverage.

Only the tests are affected; the library code works with PHPUnit 13.2. Upstream fix: https://github.com/php-mock/php-mock-phpunit/pull/95, a test-only change included in 2.16.0. Debian: https://bugs.debian.org/1133314 (serious, fixed-upstream). php-mock-phpunit has been removed from Debian testing because of it. [ Fix ] 2.15.0-2ubuntu1 adds the tests/MockObjectProxyTest.php part of PR #95 as debian/patches/0003-Fix-tests-with-PHPUnit-13.1.patch (debdiff attached). [ Test Plan ] Tested in a stonking-proposed container: - 2.15.0-2 with phpunit 13.2.6: the package build fails its tests with the 2 errors above. - 2.15.0-2ubuntu1 with phpunit 13.2.6: run-upstream-tests PASS (40 tests). - 2.15.0-2ubuntu1 with phpunit 13.0.0 (release pocket): run-upstream-tests PASS.
