Public bug reported:
After upgrade of VMWare Workstation guest to Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS with
xfce (Xubuntu) automatic resizing of the screen did not work any more.
Claude advised on analysis and discovered that libresolutionKMS.so is
not part of the open-vm-tools-desktop package any more despite it beeing
required for the auto-resize feature.
