Public bug reported:
In #2168803 we proposed a change to the QEMU coroutine implementation,
which is thoroughly exercised by the upstream iotests.
The upstream `make check-block` target does not run all the iotests
(they take a few extra minutes to run, and some require specific
backends).
There is support in d/rules to run `make check-block` but not the other
iotests.
I used this in my SRU template for the aforementioned bug:
```sh
gbp pq switch
sudo apt build-dep ./
sudo apt install seabios ipxe-qemu
make -f debian/rules configure-qemu
# Binaries needed for iotests
ninja -C b/qemu modules
make -f debian/rules build-x86-optionrom
cp -a b/optionrom/*.bin /usr/share/seabios/* /usr/lib/ipxe/qemu/*
b/qemu/qemu-bundle/usr/share/qemu/
make -C b/qemu/ check-block
cd b/qemu/
./tests/qemu-iotests/check -qcow2
```
But there are a few tests that fail on Noble.
Opening this bug to discuss the possibility of utilizing these tests for
QEMU QA in Ubuntu; I don't see any other public conversation around
this.
