Still reproducible on a newer stack (retested 2026-10-08):

- Kernel: 7.0.0-38-generic (Ubuntu 25.10, HWE)
- BIOS: R2XET42W 1.22 (09/07/2026)
- SMU firmware: 93.25.0, program 11 (was 93.23.0 in the original report)

With amd_pmc blacklisted, s2idle suspend/resume works reliably.
After `modprobe amd_pmc` (driver binds to AMDI000A:00 normally, no errors
in dmesg), the very first `rtcwake -m mem -s 20` cycle hangs hard:
the journal ends at "PM: suspend entry (s2idle)", no resume, and only
a forced power-off recovers.

Running tally with amd_pmc loaded: 8/8 hangs, across kernels
6.17.0-40, 6.17.0-41 and 7.0.0-38, BIOS 1.20 and 1.22, docked and undocked,
AC and battery. Without amd_pmc: all cycles clean.
