Kernel 7.0.0-38.38-generic (7.0.14): two full freezes in 4 days (2026-10-08, 2026-10-09) while just using Firefox. Never seen on 7.0.0-31 / 7.0.0-34 over several months (zero occurrences of these errors in the journal for those boots). Sequence: ~1 min of "GT0: GUC: TLB invalidation response timed out for seqno N" every 2s, each paired with "DMAR: VT-d detected Invalidation Time-out Error: SID 10" / "QI PRIOR: Device-TLB Invalidation", then "Fence expiration time out" (gnome-shell, Xwayland, Firefox), "GT0: Failed to reset GuC, ret = -110", "Failed to reset chip", "device wedged, needs recovery".
