Tested mutter 50.1-0ubuntu2.5 from resolute-proposed (libmutter-18-0, gir1.2-mutter-18, mutter-common, mutter-common-bin) on Ubuntu 26.04.1 LTS, GNOME Shell 50.1, Wayland, two identical 1920x1080 monitors on AMD iGPU.
Before (50.1-0ubuntu2.4): a maximized window moved with Super+Shift+Left jumped back to the original monitor after Alt+Tab away and back (or Super+<num>). Reproducible with every app. After (50.1-0ubuntu2.5): maximized windows moved with Super+Shift+Arrow stay maximized on the target monitor after Alt+Tab / Super+<num> focus changes. Tested with several apps. Note: in my setup it reproduced with just two monitors (primary + one external), not only with two extra monitors as in the test plan. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2147214 Title: Maximized windows moved by Shift+Super+Arrow get moved back when focus is lost To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/mutter/+bug/2147214/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
