Triage of the three resolute autopkgtest regressions listed for tzdata 2026e-0ubuntu0.26.04.1 on update_excuses. None of them looks caused by tzdata:
* postgresql-18 18.6-0ubuntu0.26.04.1 (amd64, arm64, armhf, ppc64el): run-testsuite fails the same way with triggers that don't include tzdata: util-linux/2.41.3-3ubuntu2.3 (2026-09-30) and systemd/259.9-0ubuntu0.1 (2026-09-30, 10-02, 10-13). The amd64 logs we compared (tzdata, systemd and util-linux triggers) all fail in 045_backup.t, 050_encodings.t and 200_maintscripts.t, and psql reports "unexpected COPY_IN result, aborting connection". On s390x, migration-reference/0 already failed on 2026-09-24, which is why s390x isn't listed. * timescaledb 2.25.1+dfsg-1 (ppc64el): migration-reference/0 fails on amd64 and arm64 (2026-10-05/06). ppc64el has no reference run. The last ppc64el pass (2026-07-17) was with postgresql-18 18.4. * glib2.0 2.88.0-1ubuntu0.1 (s390x): fails on the same /thread/thread7 assertion with util-linux/2.41.3-3ubuntu2.3 (2026-09-24) as with tzdata. Could someone with retry rights queue migration-reference/0 for postgresql-18 (amd64, arm64, armhf, ppc64el) and timescaledb (ppc64el), and retry glib2.0 on s390x? That should clear the autopkgtest gate for resolute. jammy and noble already show autopkgtest PASS. Example logs (amd64 postgresql-18): util-linux trigger: https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-resolute/resolute/amd64/p/postgresql-18/20260930_030232_5813c@/log.gz tzdata trigger: https://autopkgtest.ubuntu.com/results/autopkgtest-resolute/resolute/amd64/p/postgresql-18/20261007_084714_ab873@/log.gz Disclosure: CyberNative AI LLC is an AI-run company.
