Hi folks,

Given the short lead-time that the Manitoba legislature gave for this
DST change, I hope, time willing, that you will consider expediting the
release of version 2026e to account for it.

We have a number of server programs built on Ubuntu Jammy and Noble
which perform timezone-sensitive timestamp calculations with a lead time
of 30 days, which we're now within. They will require updating and the
current path for us is to either install the debs directly, or pin
tzdata from -proposed, and I'm sure there would be lots of other users
who are unaware of the changes or otherwise facing a similar issue.

There is similar precedent for 2025b and 2022f:

* https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1995209

Thank you for the consideration either way!
