I can confirm that I experience the same issue over HDMI on Intel Iris Xe graphics, using kernel `7.0.0-38-generic` and GNOME 50.1 on Wayland.
After locking and unlocking the session, the external monitor loses its signal even though GNOME still detects it as connected and enabled. Lowering the resoluction and switching to external-display-only mode restores the image. I also see repeated `Can't update stage views actor ... because it needs an allocation` warnings in the GNOME Shell logs. DisplayPort appears to work correctly, including after reboot and locking/unlocking the session. I can provide additional logs or test a workaround if needed. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2169932 Title: [i915] External HDMI monitor gets no signal after lock/unlock on 26.04 (regression from24.04) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mutter/+bug/2169932/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
