It's not a solution but specifically to Yubikey, there is a way to disable the smart card function (CCID) in a Yubikey itself.
$ ykman list YubiKey 4 (4.3.5) [OTP+FIDO+CCID] Serial: NNNNNNN $ ykman config mode OTP+FIDO Set mode of YubiKey to OTP+FIDO? [y/N]: y Mode set! You must remove and re-insert your YubiKey for this change to take effect. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1933027 Title: Gdm3 with smartcard asks for login/smartcard pin even if there is no smartcard authentication enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1933027/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
