I have the same Bluetooth issue on a Minisforum UM760 Slim running Linux Mint 22.3 (Ubuntu 24.04 Noble).
Hardware: - Wi-Fi: MediaTek MT7902 (PCI ID 14c3:7902) - Bluetooth: Foxconn/MediaTek (USB ID 0489:e156) - Kernel: 7.0.0-42-generic Bluetooth device is detected by lsusb, but no HCI controller is registered. Kernel error: "Bluetooth: hci0: Opcode 0x0c03 failed: -110" "bluetoothctl list" returns no controller. The upstream fix adding USB ID 0489:e156 to btusb is already available: Commit 8ec03dcf98f985c5c9b512d7e8d04911bce1cf21. Could this patch be backported to the Ubuntu Noble HWE 7.0 kernel? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2164852 Title: Bluetooth regression in kernel 7.0.0-30-generic: MediaTek/Foxconn 0489:e156 fails to initialize To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-7.0/+bug/2164852/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
