Same crash here on Linux Mint 22.3 Xfce (Noble base), AMD Radeon 610M
(Raphael iGPU, 1002:164e), Minisforum MS-A2.

- Kernel: 7.0.0-42-generic (HWE 7.0.0-42.42~24.04.1)
- xserver-xorg-core 2:21.1.12-1ubuntu1.9
- xserver-xorg-video-amdgpu 23.0.0-1ubuntu0.24.04.1
- Mesa (libgl1-mesa-dri) 25.2.8-0ubuntu0.24.04.4
- linux-firmware-amd-graphics 20240318.git3b128b60-0ubuntu3.3

It has happened twice, on 2026-10-28 and 2026-11-03, with the same
sequence each time:

1. Kernel: amdgpu: [gfxhub] page fault (src_id:0 ring:24 ...), with "Process
Xorg ... thread Xorg:cs0"
2. Kernel: ring gfx_0.0.0 timeout, then "Ring gfx_0.0.0 reset succeeded" and
"device wedged, but recovered through reset"
3. Xorg: "XXX fail to create fbo.", then SIGSEGV in pixman_fill via
fbPolyFillRect / glamor_create_gc. LightDM returns to the login screen.

The kernel recovers from the GPU reset, but Xorg/glamor doesn't. It
looks like a kernel regression: the journal shows zero gfxhub faults
across 26 days on 7.0.0-38 and earlier, and the faults started on the
first boot of 7.0.0-42. Mesa was the same version on both kernels.
xserver-xorg-core 1.9 first ran at that same boot, so I can't fully rule
it out.
