Public bug reported:

Instead of using CLI "apt upgrade" I used the GUI presented by ubuntu. It said
it would do "system updates" and then auto-restart.
That worked.
The next day I ran a VirtualBox VM and it said the kernel was missing -include.
Used google AI to run the command lines to install those.
Then I had to do a "sudo /sbin/vboxconfig"
and also:
sudo apt install virtualbox-dkms

Now everything seems to be running fine.

AI recommended I run:
ubuntu-bug update-manager

Note these are mostly based on my memory. My apologies if it's incorrect.
