Ok, so I've solved the problem modifying the file /usr/bin/compiz.
First of all, I had to comment the lines

        if ! check_fbconfig; then
                abort_with_fallback_wm
        fi

since this test swapped the screens (weird, huh?)

After that I've modified compiz options to

COMPIZ_OPTIONS="--ignore-desktop-hints --replace --only-current-screen
--display :0.0"

And changed to inderect loading by default:

# No indirect by default
INDIRECT="yes"

Now everything works out of the box!

And, yes, the error

Comparing resolution (1280x800
1024x768) to maximum 3D texture size (2048
2048): [: 352: 2048: unexpected operator
[: 352: 2048: unexpected operator

caused by incorrect processing of two screens in check_texture_size(),
since xdpyinfo gives two sets of dimensions.

PS It would be nice to have options somewhere in menu, so that people
don't have to modify scripts :)

Good luck, guys!
