Even after configuring Aspell, the spell-checker does not work in documents using iso-8859-1 encoding.
>From the command line I can check files with non-default encodings. For example: aspell --encoding=iso-8859-1 -lpt_BR check test.tex Kile (or KDE?), however, will not pass on the encoding information. Only documents encoded with UTF-8 can checked. Otherwise, all words with non-ASCII character will all be tagged as misspelled. -- spell checking doesn't work in kile https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/102645 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
