Dear mister Clemens,
I know it's my monitor, bud i come from windows, so working with a text
based cd is not an option, not for now bud mayby in the future.
I had it configured now by a linux specialist, i've seen what he did, so
that really is impossible for a newbie.
It sould be so that when you install Ubuntu, that by the install, it
sould be possible to test the proposed configuring of the monitor.
For now it works very good, bud it's really an unovercoming problem for
people coming from windows, i know that for example Mandriva doos that.
I hope it will be an option in the future.
Do you think it is possible that it will be implemented?
Sorry for the bad English and thanks for your answer.

Willy.
