188351 may be the same bug. If I would have seen that one, when I searched for an existing report, I might have just left a comment there. It's good to note, though, that the description of 188351 (mouse will only double click) lacks much of the contradicting (with the description) symptoms that I had. Contradicting parts from my report:
Nautilus: -Clicking or double clicking on a file does nothing. -Clicking on a file of folder with the right mouse button has the same effect as clicking on the empty space between them. -F2 (for renaming a file) often doesn't work when a file is selected by dragging a square around it. -Ctrl+C doesn't work. Upper panel: -Left clicking or double clicking on panel shortcuts does nothing. Lower panel: -Left clicking on programs brings them up normally, but right clicking brings up the context menu only if the mouse button is kept down. (If the mouse was only double clicking, a left click would leave programs minimized on the panel). -- Clicking with mouse not working right in Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/190536 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
