Further clarification. The problem was here from the first installation of Feisty and the upgrade to Gutsy. All my installations were in Kubuntu with KDE3. I didn't start with Ubuntu and then convert to KDE. I installed KDE4 only a few days ago. The problem with Hperlinks was there through all these versions and changes until your solution of installing "thunderbird-gnome-support".
