Thank you very much for your answer...unfortunately, I'm a newbie to Linux, I've never seen this OS before, I was a Windows XP user (but now I am tired about microsoft and I want to change), so I really don't know how to configure linux, nor kubuntu. So, please, could you tell me WHERE or HOW should I set "false" the "APT::Get::AllowUnauthenticated", in order to update my adept?? I've opened Adept manager but there are no clues about this option in the GUI...maybe should I execute some commands in the terminal?? If yes, which strings or commands? I have kubuntu 7.10, I've just installed and I want to update some programs, like kopete, for example, or install amsn, but since it doesn't work i'm afraid I cannot do nothing!! Thank you very much for reading, and more thanks if you will give answers to me!!
