also usb mouse freeze (trust 15349)
pointer and keyboard freeze simultaneously with or without usb mouse/touchpad
with gutsy i never seen this problem with rt kernel and customized kernel
(2.6.24 compiled using kernelcheck)

using dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg usb mouse and touchpad aren't
recognized correctly, so i've configured xorg.conf in that way
