On Hardy, running today's (March 4th, 2008) daily CD, and updated everything.
After logon, Firefox will run for a couple of minutes and suddenly crash (even when idle, ie. not loading a site). After this, it will not start up again. Running from command line yields: /usr/lib/firefox-3.0b3/firefox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libxml2.so.2: undefined symbol: gzopen64 gdb output for firefox-3.0-dbgsym and firefox-3.0-gnome-support-dbgsym: gdb firefox-3.0 2>&1 | tee gdb-firefox.txt GNU gdb 6.7.1-debian (...) This GDB was configured as "x86_64-linux-gnu"... "/usr/bin/firefox-3.0": not in executable format: File format not recognized (gdb) Or am i missing something here? No lines were added to .xsession-errors during firefox startup. I'd like to hear how i can help track down the problem. -- Firefox crashes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173896 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
