I don't really know, but as the NetworkManager is the only application (that i know of) that its output is visible, my guess (as i haven't seen the code), is that the log is outputted as an error or console output rather than as a file (this might be either script error, programming error, or bad luck on my side - i haven't changed the defaults, btw)
