partimage depends on libnewt0.52 (according to the Depends field of the
package), and thus after installing it on hardy, ldd /usr/sbin/partimage
returns amongst other lines : libnewt.so.0.52 => /usr/lib/libnewt.so.0.52
which is correct.
Thus I am running partimage on hardy without any problem.
