Its working now. Have the same problem on Debian Testing.
If i install the NVIDIA-Linux-x86-71.86.04-pkg1.run version nvidia driver, the Desktop Effects dont work in KDE 4.0.1 . But if i install the version NVIDIA-Linux-x86-169.07-pkg1.run it works. But have some problems in taskmanager with transparency.
