Yes, I'm still having this issue with mozilla-thunderbird
1.5.0.7-0ubuntu0.6.06:

It doesn't crash directly on startup, only if I click on emails, I
believe only with HTML-emails.
If I uncheck "allow to use other fonts" as described by Stepho then
Thunderbird doesn't crash.
