Okay, so after some investigation (and help), I've figured out the
moblin-media-0.25 doesn't actually use any clutter libs. They are merely
imported, and never used. The code path that would use them has been
purposely blocked by the program (--disable-clutter is automatically
true, but there is no --enable-clutter).

Therefore, it is safe to remove the dependency on clutter, and make a
small patch against moblin-media, so it doesn't call 'import clutter'
unnecessarily. I have attached a debdiff that does exactly that, plus
updates the debian/control file to get rid of the clutter* depends.
