Tried to install the i386 desktop live cd from march 19th. I couldn't get past step 6 (of 7) of the installer.
Configured my computer to boot from the other dvd drive. Again the same. Couldn't get past step 6 (of 7) of the installer. What is happening here? Since Gutsy I do have nothing but trouble trying to install Ubuntu. Or: 1. Either there is something really wrong with the installer 2. Ubuntu (starting from Gutsy) does not recognize my hardware as it should 3. My dvd drives are all broken I'll try to install Feisty again. (I already did that a while ago, but hey: what the heck, I'll do it again) to make sure that it is not my hardware that is malfunctioning.
