Tried to install the Ubuntu (Gnome) 7.10. Never worked (installed) here
before.

Hung + errors at copying files (86%), as it did before! See my earliest
documentation.

So, resuming all the previous: the bug seems to be really a Gnome thing
(perhaps according my hardware). And it started at Gutsy. Check out what
has been changed in Gnome since Feisty in the installer and the
detection of hardware!

By the way. the Hardy desktop for i386 CD didn't recognize my monitor.
(It did previously. (Feisty.)

I'll upload my hardware config again, but this time by Aida32.
Be patient.

And see what Gnome has to do with it.
In case you yourself should file a bug to Gnome, let me know where to find it,
please?
