The Xorg in Hardy automatically detects the proper configuration
parameters, so it is generally no longer necessary to hard code them in
xorg.conf.  However, it is a new capability and not without some
problems (esp. on older hardware).  It's not clear from your bug report
if you're experiencing a problem, or just were surprised that the
parameters are missing in the default xorg.conf.  I'll assume the latter
and close this bug.

However, if you're experiencing that the autoconfiguration is not
working on your system, please see http://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Debugging,
and open one or more bugs about the issue(s) you encounter.
