** Summary changed:

- still no sound hardy kernel 2.6.24-12
+ PulseAudio "Connection failed: Connection refused"

** Description changed:

-
- I got no sound in any application in Hardy beta (upgraded from Gutsy), kernel
2.6.24-12.22 both generic and rt. However in "System > Applications > Sound" I
could hear test sound while choosing "ICE1712 multi" for my Terratec EWS88MT,
but any tested setting in any application preferences did not give any sound.

Sounds worked fine (not in Amarok though) when starting with 2.6.22-14
  generic kernel.

PulseAudio said everywhere "Connection failed: Connection refused", so
  that doesn't work at all.

I made fresh installation, now with Ubuntu Studio 8.04 beta. Only thing
left from previous installation was the home directory. Re-installation
  made no difference.

  I have amd64.
