Synaptic Search and application of libxine1-plugins now allows launch of Kaffeine when Exaile is already running. When Kaffeine is already running it is still not possible to launch Exaile. VLC Player remains unaffected by these conflicts, capable of independent operation, but Movie Player stuttering occurs when other packages are running. In a newly installed Ubuntu 7.10 all packages retain independent sound and video. (All as at Tuesday 08 April 2008). Regarding Album covers this service appears to be no longer offered by Amazon.
