My dmesg output was much the same as the above, though my device appeared as sdc1. gnome-mount produces the same result:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ gnome-mount -vbd /dev/sdc1 gnome-mount 0.8 ** Message: Given device '/dev/sdc1' is not a volume or a drive. The device definitely does exist though: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls -la /dev/sdc1 brw-rw---- 1 root disk 8, 33 2008-04-16 06:28 /dev/sdc1 Mounting it manually using "mount" or "pmount" works exactly as expected. ** Attachment added: "hal.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13470480/hal.txt -- Regression: Sony Walkman NWZ-S618F doesn't mount in Hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/209483 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
