I've removed the value "[]" value at path
/apps/compiz/plugins/scale/allscreens/options/initiate_edge but now the
error message is:

$ compiz

GConf backend: There is an unsupported value at path
/apps/compiz/plugins/shift/allscreens/options/initiate_edge. Settings from this
path won't be read. Try to remove that value so that operation can continue
properly.
Aborted (core dumped)

My videocard chipset is: NVidia FX 5200 and I have the last official NVidia
drivers.
Thanks for all and tell me what else I can do to help.
