This bug could really use some love. It is very scary not being able to
reboot your machine. Obviously, it leaves me 2 choices:

1. Go ahead and select reboot, and then manually press the off button to power 
off (hold for 5 seconds), then power on.
2. Choose shutdown, and then after the machine has powered down, press the 
power button to start the machine.

The problem with both of these work-a-rounds is that it prevents me from
remotely administering my machine, which I frequently do with VNC.

If there are any addition log files or information I should post please
advise.
