I have added nautilus and gnome-control-center to this bug because I
believe they are both involved:

 * Nautilus should offer a context menu option for TTF files which copies them 
to ~/.fonts/
 * gnome-font-viewer should offer similar functionality if the font being 
previewed isn't one that's already installed.

Almost certainly this is an upstream bug, but it affects our users, so
it should be tracked here and linked upstream as appropriate.
