to run gnome-volume-manager, try '/usr/lib/gnome-volume-manager/gnome- volume-manager -n 2>&1 | tee gvm.log'
I have a similar problem with a caplio R1 - under both gutsy and hardy, f-spot sees that the camera is there, and even recognises it as a Caplio R1, (on importing, it brings up a 'camera selection' box which lets me choose between two ricoh caplio r1's - one on port usb: and the other on port usb:007,016 (or other number depending which usb port I'm plugged in to)). It then thinks for a few seconds, and comes up with a box 'error connecting camera - received error "Error reading from the port" while connecting to camera'. It does this irrespective of which port I choose in the previous step. -- ricoh caplio R4 isn't recognized https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216294 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
