Thanks for the reply. I went back to the posting and tried to attach the
files in the dist-upgrade folder . They seem to have become joined
together. Please let me know if this is not satisfactory.

At conclusion of automatic update insufficient disk space was reported.
When I restarted it reports restricted drivers in use for NVidia 7300GS. I
have to scross across desktop to see it all. Various error message scroll
down the screen on rebooting.
