I confirmed it. How to reproduce: 1. Launch OpenOffice.org Writer 2. Change font to "VL Gothic" 3. To enable SCIM, press Ctrl+Space 4. Input Japanese words (ex. "abcあいうえおdef", left image) 5. To change writing direction to vertical, select Format -> Page -> "Page" tab then change "Text direction" to "Right-to-left (vertical)", click OK 6. Japanese words are invisible (right image)
Info: Original OO.o 2.4 couldn't reproduce its bug. It seems that it is Ubuntu package's bug. ** Attachment added: "oowriter.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/14058924/oowriter.png -- openoffice, japanese vertical line is not supported. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/223433 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
