I also get this behaviour i Hardy. I use WEP auth for my wireless. on login, I get a dialog asking me for default keyring password so that nm-applet can access the WEP key stored in the keyring. After I typed in my password, it accepts and my wireless connects successfully and doesn't ask me for keyring password again until i reboot. I didn't try logout then re-login though
