that's the new design and not a bug, gvfs does actual mounting which
allow all the applications to use the mounts where gnome-vfs was only
using links to the location, you should bookmark the locations you
usually want to use. there is already several bugs discussing the
possibility to not display the mount icons on the desktop if the user
doesn't want those, closing this bug
