Hello,

I had Firefox 3 installed, and I preferred to install Firefox-2, the
2.0.0.14 version, in order to use some plugins that are not yet
available with the 3 bĂȘta 5 version of Firefox. So I did have a .mozilla
directory in my home at this point.

I also found the same bug, and then found the thread here by searching
on the web with the error message. I didn't get result by putting
firefox profile away, but instant result came after putting the whole
~/.mozilla directory away. After restarting Firefox I could also add one
more extension with no further problem.
